Shark Tank Esade is an event designed for those interested in the startup or investment sectors, providing a real-world glimpse into investment processes.

Scheduled for April 2025, at the Esade Pedralbes Auditorium, the event will feature 10 startups by student founders from prestigious institutions like Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, LSE, Bocconi, IE, and Esade pitching their projects to major Spanish VCs.

They will pitch their startups for 5 minutes each followed by a 10 minute round of questions, they will each ask for a sum of between 50,000€ and 1,500,000€!

01. Investor speech

The event will kick off with an investor giving a speech in the engaging and inspiring style of a TED Talk.

Who will the investors and speakers be?

The panel of investors will be composed of five individuals. Additionally, we will livestream which will allow your startup to get additional exposure. Speakers will be top representatives from the finance, tech, retail, education and sports sectors. Their names will be revealed in future communications so keep an eye on our media channels!
How can my startup participate ?

First, go to the “Startup Sign up” area. Complete the questionnaire with all the basic information about you and your startup. We will reach out soon and once we do, we will ask for further information about your startup as well as a mock pitch. After that, we hope to see you April!
Can I participate if I am not an Esade student?

Absolutely, we welcome students and alumni from the best engineering and business schools, as well as any CEMS students. Moreover, everyone is welcome to be a member of the audience!
How large should my startup be?

This event looks to provide investments ranging from 50,000 EUR to 500,000 EUR for startups in their pre-seed and seed funding stage. All participating startups should be able to provide a beta-version or minimum viable product.
